Vishal Bajpai

Vishal is responsible for business development, investor-relations, product strategy and structuring related activities. He has over 20 years of rich experience in distribution, advisory and product management in financial services industry with Deutsche, HSBC, ICICI Bank, Birla Mutual Fund and Motilal Oswal Securities. Prior to joining Varanium, Vishal was heading the Investment business for Deutsche consumer banking in India. He is a CFA Charter holder from CFA Institute, USA and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Devi Ahilya University, Indore.

Aparajit Bhandarkar

Aparajit leads the Venture Capital Practice at the firm. He has more than 15 years of experience in Investment Banking, Investor Relations and startup investments. Before joining Varanium, he was CEO of Dice Fintech Ace- a Fintech Venture fund. Before that he was Head Strategy, Jio Payments Bank and various senior roles at Yes Bank such as President, Merchant Banking and Head of Investor Relation. He is a qualified CA, CFA and MBA from NYU stern.

Vikram Pandya

With over 14 years of experience across Banking, Technology, and Fintech, Vikram serves as the Director of Fintech at SP Jain School of Global Management. He was honored as “Educator of the Year” by the ICAI, with the award presented by Hon. Nitin Gadkari.

Vikram previously advised Yes Bank as a Strategic Advisor and continues to mentor several fintech startups. A sought-after speaker, he has delivered keynote sessions at prominent forums, including those hosted by the ICAI.

His multidisciplinary expertise is backed by professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, CFA charterholder, and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), allowing him to bridge finance, technology, and governance with clarity and impact

Nawal Bachhuka

Nawal is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience across financial services and corporate finance. As the Principal of Varanium Venture Debt Fund, he leads the fund’s investment strategy, asset management, risk oversight, and operations. Prior to this, he spent over 15 years at Aditya Birla Finance Ltd, where he held senior leadership positions across Corporate & Institutional Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Digital Lending, and MSME Finance. His earlier experience spans finance roles at Banswara Systex, Euro Vistaa, and Balkrishna Industries, with responsibilities ranging from fund management to stakeholder relations and regulatory compliance.

Aman Jain

Aman has been with Varanium Capital since Nov 2019 and plays a pivotal role in fundraising, investing, managing, and supporting founders in building platforms. He has been instrumental in leading and managing Varanium's early-stage investments. Few of the notable investments where he led include Easebuzz, Navadhan, Finvu, Metafin, Datasutram. Prior to Varanium, he has worked for Evalueserve India and BDO India. He is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA (US) Charterholder, and holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Markets.

Rishi Garg

Rishi is a part of the portfolio management team for offshore investments and is based out of Singapore. He has 9+ years of work experience starting with Chryseum Advisors LLP, a middle-market investment bank, and Accumen Wealth Advisors, a Family Office / Wealth Advisory . Rishi is a qualified CFA and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Finance, from NMIMS Mumbai.

Pooja Gandhi

Pooja has work experience of 6 years plus. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a qualified CFA. Prior to joining Varanium, she worked with Axis Bank as Product Manager and Credit Manager in the International Banking Department.
